AICD API DATA PRACTICES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
AICD API-specific clarification. This section controls over any conflicting general wording elsewhere in this notice. The statement in the standard Do-Not-Track section that we do not respond to DNT is replaced for AICD API by the following: We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for the analytics and campaign measurements described below. References elsewhere to marketing partners and social media sources do not mean we purchase marketing lists or collect friends lists; our relevant third-party sources are public government records, account sign-in providers, payment providers, and service providers. Public government records and AI. AICD API collects public government records, including agendas, minutes, and related documents. These records may contain names, official roles, statements, addresses, and other information published by the source authority. We extract, classify, organize, and provide source-linked records through our website, REST API, and MCP service. AI output may be incomplete or wrong. Check the original source. Public-source information is distinct from private customer account, billing, support, and missing-data report information. We do not use public records to build marketing profiles of our customers. Contact hello@aicdapi.com with a privacy or correction request about a record. Service providers. We use providers for hosting and storage (including Vercel and Neon), account authentication (Clerk), card payments (Stripe), email delivery and subscription management (Resend), analytics (PostHog and Vercel), error monitoring (Sentry), and AI-assisted extraction and classification (Google Gemini and, where configured, Anthropic). Providers receive the information needed for the service they perform. Public source documents or extracts may be sent to AI providers for processing. Do not submit private documents, credentials, or sensitive personal information in missing-data reports. Email subscriptions. We save the email address, signup time, exact consent version, permitted message types, and any optional early-access preference. Consent does not expand automatically. We use Resend to send confirmation messages and only the updates covered by recorded consent. Existing opt-outs are honored. Rejoining requires a new confirmation. Unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact hello@aicdapi.com. We do not add the address to other marketing lists. Analytics and browser choices. When tracking is allowed, signup records may include utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content (up to 100 characters each) and a random event ID used to prevent duplicate counts. These signup records do not save the full query string, referrer, IP address, or Meta click ID. Anonymous daily visit records use a random browser visit ID that changes daily, contain no campaign labels or signup event IDs, and are deleted after 35 days. PostHog page-view and signup events use hashed identities and permitted campaign labels, without the email address, IP address, referrer, or full query string. Account-created and checkout-started events are limited to accounts whose signup browser allowed tracking; checkout also checks current request privacy signals. These events carry separate hashed identities, provider creation time, a stable event ID, a test flag, and a page path, without card details or raw provider IDs. Payment analytics is disabled. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these measurements: when either is enabled, the relevant visit count, campaign-label collection, and PostHog events are disabled. Email signup remains available. These limits describe our specified analytics flows; necessary authentication, payment, hosting, and security processing still occurs. Email sent to us. Resend receives the complete message for delivery and forwarding. AICD API stores bounded delivery metadata, including provider event and message IDs, delivery time, sender and recipient addresses, subject, attachment metadata, and a SHA-256 digest of the signed webhook payload. If metadata is invalid or exceeds limits, a smaller quarantine record retains IDs, delivery time, one matched recipient, reason codes, safe counts when known, and the digest; sender, full recipient lists, subject, and attachment metadata are empty. This first-stage intake does not store message bodies or attachment files in AICD API. Do not email passwords, API keys, card details, or other secrets. Private missing-data reports. Reports contain an account reference, public source link, short description, optional query details, and review history. They are available to the customer account and authorized service staff, and are not published in civic data feeds. Report details and retry records become eligible for deletion 90 days after closure. Stored raw validation captures become eligible after 30 days. Cleanup runs in batches, so deletion can take longer. Open reports, active checks, future reviews, and legal or incident holds may delay deletion. Deleted information can remain in backups until those copies expire. Retention and rights. We retain other account, billing, consent, and support information for the purposes described in this notice, including providing the service, honoring opt-outs, meeting legal and tax obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. The specific cleanup periods above apply to the records described. Contact hello@aicdapi.com or use the data-rights request method in this notice to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law.15. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.16. HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?
If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may email us at hello@aicdapi.com or contact us by post at:17. HOW CAN YOU REVIEW, UPDATE, OR DELETE THE DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
Based on the applicable laws of your country or state of residence in the US, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, details about how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please fill out and submit a data subject access request.Current public page-view analytics detail
For public website page views, PostHog receives the referring domain only, never the full referring URL or its query string, and the browser user agent so automated traffic can be filtered. On sign-up pages, PostHog also receives funnel step names, permitted campaign labels, and a bounded failure category, not form values or full error text. AICD API does not send the visitor IP address to PostHog. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control still disable the event completely.
If you create an account, AICD API also links that sign-up to your earlier page views and sign-up steps from the same browser. To do this, PostHog receives a pseudonymous account identifier (a one-way hash derived from your account ID, not your name or email address), the campaign labels from your visit, a sign-up completion event from your browser, and an account-created event from our servers. We briefly store your PostHog session identifier and those campaign labels with your account at our sign-in provider, Clerk, and delete them once the account-created event is recorded. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is on when you sign up, none of this linking happens.
