Create or enter your account
- Open Create account and enter your email. You can use Google instead.
- After sign-in, AICD API sends you to the account page.
- An owner or admin can create the workspace API account and manage its agent keys.
Roles
- Workspace owners and admins can create, rotate, and revoke API keys.
- Other workspace members can view the account but cannot manage keys.
- The account page shows the workspace ID with a copy button. This ID is not an API key or secret.
- Every key you create here carries both read scopes, so one key serves the records API and MCP. Export is the only optional permission, and a key cannot carry a scope that its account does not have.
When an API account is active
- An account's status and its paid eligibility are separate. A lapsed or absent paid period ends paid data access; it does not make the account itself inactive.
- Civic read and export calls need a current eligible paid plan period. Without one those calls are refused. Reporting needs current paid access of its own — a current paid plan period, or a confirmed report payment on the pay-as-you-go path — and is refused without it.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal, and paid data access continues through the end of the paid period the account already paid for.
- Creating or rotating a key needs current paid data access. Listing and revoking keys work without it.
- Losing paid data access does not revoke existing keys. Those keys stop authenticating on the civic read and export routes until paid access returns, and reports are refused on that account while the access is missing.
Sign out and account recovery
Use Sign out at the bottom of the account page when you finish on a shared computer.
AICD API supports email verification and Google sign-in. For a stale email code, use Resend and enter the new code. If Google cannot verify you, use Google's account recovery first. If you can sign in but cannot reach the correct workspace, contact AICD API and include your workspace name or workspace ID. Never send an API key or password.
Access problems
- 401 means your browser session ended. Sign in again.
- 403 on key controls means your workspace role cannot manage keys. Ask an owner or admin.
- 404 account_not_found means the workspace API account has not been created or enabled.
- An account without current paid data access cannot create or rotate keys. Listing and revoking keys still work.
